FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
How many Slide and Hide CoverKeepers would I need?
It depends on the wight of your comforter/bedspread and the size of your bed. You need 2 units for a twin bed, 2-3 units for a double, and 3-4 for a queen or king. (Each unit is separate.)
How are Slide and Hide CoverKeepers installed?
They easily slide in between the mattress and box spring at the end (or side) of the bed. They come assembled. The design is simple, yet high quality - - one smaller tube (3/8” diameter) fits into a slightly larger (1/2 “ diameter) tube. The larger tube fits under the mattress and box spring and the smaller tube with a u-shaped “lip” slides in & out of the larger tube.
Do the Slide and Hide CoverKeepers work with adjustable beds like Sleep Number™?
It depends. You can test this yourself by inserting a yardstick (or something similar) between your mattress and box spring to determine if you have areas that are unobstructed for 14” width and 35” length and whether you can get a minimum of two units in without running into any components of the adjustable bed.
Another consideration is if you have only one person sleeping in the bed, install the units on the unused side of the bed.
Do Slide and Hide CoverKeepers work with beds that have footboards?
Generally, no, as you need to be able to pull them out from between the mattress and box-spring, unless you can 1) instead use them off an unused side of the bed or 2) cut open notches or drill holes in your footboard so that the Slide and Hide CoverKeeper can slide in and out.
What are the dimensions of the Slide and Hide CoverKeepers?
Each unit is 34 1/2 inches long X 13 1/2 inches wide X 8 inches high

Can the Slide and Hide CoverKeepers hold very heavy comforters?
Yes, the units are quite durable, but you may want an extra unit for extra heavy bedspreads/comforters versus what you might need for very light bedding.
Can you feel the Slide and Hide CoverKeepers when you lay or sit on the bed?
You cannot feel them when laying down to sleep. However, it’s advised that you do not sit on the end where the lip comes up as your body weight could bend the steel making it slide less easily.
Can the Slide and Hide CoverKeeper be easily moved between beds?
Yes, it’s very easy to pull out each assembled unit and move it to another room. However, why not purchase a set for each room to aid your kids in making their beds and / or giving your guests an improved experience while ensuring they don’t let your nice bedspread/comforter lay on the floor.
